The beginnings of Minuto 90 go back to 2014, when its creator and director, Renzo Tamariz, together with his great team, met to produce the first Football Film Festival. In 2015, the first edition was held in Lima, Peru, to later visit other Peruvian cities such as Cusco and Arequipa.

The great reception of the festival allowed the project to travel to the cities of Bogotá and Barranquilla in Colombia, thus consolidating a space for debate and analysis around football culture. In 2020, during the pandemic, the 6th edition of the festival was achieved virtually, with which it was able to reach all of Latin America.

Every year, the Minuto 90 Film Festival screens more than 20 titles from around the world, including short films and feature films, documentary, fiction and animation genres. Through which a space is generated to debate about the social issues that they expose with renowned guests.
